Today marks the end of my second intensive and I must say that I am thrilled and sad at the same time. Every time I come here to Liberty in Lynchburg, VA I make new friends and refresh previous friendships. It is hard to say goodbye.
Today was a great day and our team's presentation went great! There were two other presentations and they were very interesting and sparked some potential research questions in my mind. Perhaps the most poignant question is about the disparity of technology availability between children whether it be rural vs urban or economic status. The truth is that every child deserves an opportunity to have equal access to technology and the same opportunity to grow and learn.
It was a great week full of learning and right now I am working on my prospectus, a process that I am finding quite challenging. I hope to finish it today so that I can complete this course and go back home where I can enjoy my family and begin studying for my MAT exam.
Closing thoughts: Technology is at the cusp of a major explosion and who knows where that will lead us as a society and a nation. I pray that God guides those creating and inventing to promote the right things with technology.
